controlled environment, measuring instruments are compared to certified
Tektronix instruments that have a higher level of
accuracy. These instruments are certified to the National Institute of
Standards and Technology (NIST). This is a nationally recognized
organization that sets the standard for accuracies. Laboratories that
comply with this international standard also operate in accordance with
ISO 9001. These labs also meet the requirements of ANSI/NCSL
Z540-1-1994, 10CFR50 APP. B, 10CFR 21, NQA-1 and additional program
requirements in the field of calibration.
